What it finds, and what it does not.

Anaemia, diabetes and pre-diabetes markers, liver and kidney function, cholesterol and lipid levels, thyroid function, and general inflammatory markers: the standard baseline most primary-care physicals include.

A blood panel does not find structural disease. A normal panel alongside an abnormal scan is common, and the two are read together, not as a substitute for each other.

Suitability

Who it suits, and who should not have it.

Suits: Everyone. This is the standard baseline included in every program tier, not an optional add-on.

Should not have it: There is no group for whom a standard blood panel is inappropriate; specific markers may be added or removed based on your history, discussed with your coordinator before the visit.

In context

How it differs from the related test.

Where a tumor marker panel targets specific cancer-associated proteins, the full blood panel covers general organ function and metabolic health. The two are complementary and both included in the comprehensive program.

Questions worth asking before you book.

Do I need to fast before this blood draw?
Yes. Most of the panel (glucose, lipids) requires fasting. Your coordinator sends exact timing once your appointment is confirmed.
Is this the same as an annual check-up blood test at home?
It covers similar ground to a standard annual physical's bloodwork, reported in English alongside your imaging results rather than as a separate, disconnected result.
Can specific markers be added?
Yes. Based on your personal or family history, your coordinator can add markers (for example, additional cardiac or hormone panels) before your visit.
