Programs

One ladder,
three rungs and a side door.

The three tiers move in one direction: bloods and ultrasound and a gastroscopy, then a CT and a colonoscopy on top, then an MRI on top of that. The focused programs sit outside that ladder and examine one system properly instead of several less deeply.

The ladder

Three tiers, cheapest first.

Tiered programs, priced across the three partner centres whose ladders these ranges are drawn from
ProgramPriceWhat it adds
Essential $310–410 Bloods and tumour markers, chest X-ray, abdominal and thyroid ultrasound, ECG, bone density and a gastroscopy or upper-GI series.
Comprehensive $685–790 Adds one CT scan, a carotid ultrasound, a cardiac ultrasound and a colonoscopy under sedation on top of the Essential tier.
Advanced (flagship) $1,100–1,130 Adds an MRI (brain, cervical or lumbar), a KUB scan and a colonoscopy under sedation on top of the Comprehensive tier; women's programs add a breast ultrasound.

Every figure on this page carries its source and the date it was measured. See the methodology line under the comparison table.

KMI (한국의학연구소), Hanaro Medical Foundation (하나로의료재단) and Hanshin Medipia (한신메디피아) each publish their own non-covered (비급여) price list, disclosure of which is required by Korean law (https://www.kmi.or.kr/HLCHK/PERSONAL; https://www.hanaromf.com/program/prog01/prog01_01.jsp; https://hsmedipia.co.kr/inspection/indivisual/class/all), measured 2026-07-28.

Outside the ladder

Six focused programs. One system each.

6 programs published by KMI, one of the four partner centres and the only one publishing these separately from its tiered ladder. They are narrower than any tier rather than cheaper versions of one, which is the distinction worth holding on to before booking either.

What a program is not

Nothing here was assembled by us.

Every program on this page is a real published program at a Korean screening centre, at that centre's own published price. Korean law requires those prices to be disclosed, which is why a range on this site can be checked against the centre's own page rather than taken on trust. What this service adds is scheduling, English handling and a fixed quote before you commit, and it does not add a tier of its own.
